| Message: | I was listening to Una's wonderful tribute to Mickey - "Autumn Into Winter" on the 'Porch Tribute to Mickey Newbury' - a wonderful voice and wonderful sentiments so sincerely expressed. The I listened to "A Song for Ireland", sung by Mary Black: an astonishingly emotive evocation of deep love of country. An then Mickey's amazing rendition of "Danny Boy" on 'Rusty Tracks' '... he hears me there tho' soft I tread above him...' |
