| Message: | I Have had five amazing mentors in my life. My Mother sang on nation wide radio in the 1930's with the likes of Laurence Welk and never told me until a few months before she past away. She taught me how to practice until I got it right when I was five years old. It Stuck. Next was Mickey Newbury when I was fifteen. He laid my heart on a silver platter for me to see that I was not alone. I never met the man, but I love his music. James Waite - Harper was the first man I ever saw up close and personal that really helped me learn how to perform. That was 1972. Forty- four years later I am still doing what I love to do. |
