Subject:  Cancer update
Message:  It's been a month and a half. I started on chemo and radiation at the same time as I reported in mu first post. My body rebelled and I spent 4 days in the hospital. My plates count went down to 4,000. It should have been 150,000 or so I was told. Long story short, After 2 platelet united and 3 blood transfusions I finally got to go home. Still on both chemo and radiation but will go off chemo next week for a week. The only side effect is nausea and I think the radiation missed its spot and hit my esophosus.(sp) difficult to swallow. But all and all I dare anyone to say I won't make it!! I'm nowhere near the quitten stage. lol. LOve ya''ll and thank you for your thoughts, your calls and your prayers.
