|Subject:||Brian's Cancer - Update 3|
|Message:||I'm coming towards the end of two weeks of chemotherapy.
My chemo is delivered in tablet form - Capecitabine - of which I'm taking 2.650 grams, twice a day. So far, side effects have been few and mild. I have been warned that side effects may become worse as each cycle of treatment progresses (I have 7 or eight more cycles to go). During the third, and final, week of each cycle I take no chemo and my body's immune system has some time to recover and prepare for the next course of chemo.
I remain grateful to all well-wishers: kind words are part of the cure.
