Message:  I prayed for my uncle of over 97 years to "let it go". He would just smile back at me, and nod his head, seeming to understand me, because he was deaf. His big body, shrunk to a shell of the man he once was. No regrets for this man, who listened to machinery, Harleys, steam trains, and could hold baby birds so gently and put them back in their nest. His ashes will be spread in Death Valley, his favorite spot in the world. My tears are for the suffering, not after they have gone. Great story, Doug. Brings many memories to my mind, not all of them "sweet"!!!!
