This surgery was more extensive than what I've had in the past. Of course, it was the 2nd in eight months, and it's taking a little longer for me to bounce back that I expected. I'm sore and still experiencing pain from the one tumor that they couldn't get too, which is located in my lower pelvis area.

We met with the Oncologist on Thursday and he's set me up with the Radiologist on Tuesday of next week. The plan is to zap this tumor every day for a month. That will take me through April and the first week in May. If my system can handle it they plan to give me chemo in pill form while I'm undergoing the radiation.

If more chemo is needed, I will put that off until after the Gathering. I'm taking a mushroom extract that they are using in Japan instead of chemo and the results have been fantastic. If you want additional information on this just google AHCC.

It raises your immune system by up to 300% which allows your own body to fight the cancer. Of course, chemo tears down your immune system. My cancer doc doesn't care much for this product, but my primary care doc, who's a DO named Phan, is very encourging.

I drove for the first time since the operation yesterday and I was pretty sore today, but I need to get back to work, to get my mind off of what's going on in my body and finish plans for the Gathering in less than 60 days.

Keep those candles burning...and prayers coming my way. This porch will never know the confort of your prayers. You don't have to post 'em...just remember this "Younger Goat" when you think about it.

My postive attitude hasn't changed...I will beat this monster with your help.

God Bless
