Message:  Clean out the insides and throw them away.
Put salt and pepper and onion powder inside
the pumpkin.

Brown some hamburger meat, mix with mashed
potatoes and cheese and salt and pepper and put
that mixture inside the pumpkin. (kind of like
a shepherd's pie, but inside the pumpkin.)

Put the top back on the pumpkin, and bake in
the oven at 350 degrees for about an hour (maybe
more, depending on your oven). When you take
it out of the oven, let it stand for about a
half hour, and then slice it like a cake, and
serve it hot.

Hey, I never liked it, but my dad loved it,
and Mom made it for him often.   I should try
it again.   When we are very young, we don't
"kater" to a lot of things, 'tater.
