||As I read this Ginny, it brings back memories of my own mother. Sounds just like her. It really wears you down. I bought one of those big dry erase boards and left messages for my mother to read everyday. Trouble was, she never read them and when she did she forgot what she read. I tried to find some humor just to keep me going. I used to tell her how the good thing about all this is that I could show her the same movie every night and every night it was new to her. Get the movie FOLKS with Tom Selleck. It's supposed to be a comedy but it's so much like real life that it will amaze you.
One of the worst and funniest times was when my mother would get up to catch the Senior citizens bus to town twice a week to do activities at the Senior Citizens center. One morning she got up and asked " Is it time for me to get ready yet?" I said " No mother, you don't go there today." Then she did it again and again and again. Finally I yelled at her " G*d D*mn It Mother, You Don't Go Today!!" She said " Well you don't have to talk to me like that." And went off to her room crying her brains out. Needless to say I felt like a real jerk. After a few minutes I got up out of my chair and went to apologize. Just as I got to her door, it opened, and there was my mom asking " Is it time for me to get ready yet?"
