Message:  I would just like to say: Thank You. I first discovered this web site(or a version thereof)in July of 1999. Later Mr. Beve kept us going with the Blue Board and what a wonderful time when, as I have written before, we discovered each other. Now Suzie gives us the Front and Back porches which should never be taken for granted.

I shall never forget the first conversation with Mickey Newbury and the privilege of being in his and Suzie's home in Springfield. I try not to idolize Mickey because I really don't think he wanted to be remembered that way.

But as confusing and scattered as the world seems to be, Mickey and what he left seems to be an island of sanity. As Roy, said, what Mickey really believed, he wrote; and he wrote it at the time he was going through it. I don't think many of have any idea what "the business" was like then and how worse it is now. I don't think Mickey was a saint. I think he was very human and much of his music will tell you exactly where he was.

Somehow, he navigated enough to leave 25 plus albums which contain any thing you would ever need to deal with life. What and how you do is really your decision but it's there.

I also thank Bob Rosemurgy for helping to bring Mickey into our lives. We might not have had a web site without him.

Winter winds have been blowing through all our lives...and it's so wonderful to have a place to go.

Thank you very much.

With love,
