Chris is right, ignore it.
By even mentioning anything about it, the troll has been given credence...you let him/her get under your skin and that is their primary purpose in life...which I must add, they don't have much of a life at all. That's why they try to sow discord on these Internet sites, they have nothing better to do, really. Basically, it's ALL they have going for them.
Believe it or not, some of the worst trolls sadly turn out to be disenchanted members of the same site!
At stated, I must reiterate, the best thing that you can do is to ignore it. I don't even bother reading those post. As a moderator on another unrelated site, I have never had to ban anyone but it sure has come close.
Many of these trolls do their postings from work and not home. That is just plain stupid. It is not difficult to log IPs, especially the way ISP's and companies do their business these days, I don't care what kind of firewall they have.
I have seen a few situations where employers have been notified of their employee's behavior on the Internet by the site managers. This can get serious...and no one thinks it is ever funny, especially the human resources department of the company.
