Well, it's midnight at the O.K. Corral. The saloon done closed, the town gettin' kinda dry. Most of them varmits had left Dodge, and it's down to the rascally few. The meanest, grubbiest, orneriest bunch of Newbury Nasties you'd ever want to lay your hands on (or wallet with).

Yup, time for the "Last Man (& Woman) Standing Club to kick in. More like "Monday's Leftovers", this year's (GXIV) contenders come morning are ... (drumroll, please):

Felix & Barb
and, yours truly, da Sheriff

Of course, we all know Erik will outlast us all and give us the boot on that hill. Hey, someone has to blow out the lantern (and pay the barkeep -- haha).

So nice to see Susan, Leah, Laura, and the little Injuns! And Mary. And the Douglas's, and Enfinger's, Batwoman, Kelly, and Anni. And all them "newbies" that dun got added to the family.

Tired and retired, this week went by way too fast. Did we understand a word that was said, or was the music just too loud? Dunno.

The Epitaph deadline is passed, gotta hit the 'stack.

Hey Mr. Sherrrrifffff!
It sure was good seeing you and everyone else that I haven't seen in two years. Mr. Ronnie and I really had a good time at the Gathering. Craig thank you for the wonderful sausage, corn ( I forget how to spell it) and the onions and cucumbers. and for making this year wonderful. Hope you gave Janet a hug like I asked.
Hugs to everyone,
Susie D (g) and Ronnie

With all the flight delays, I finally got to Madison to spend the night at my nieces before heading for home Tuesday (24th). Took me 3 hrs to unpack, check mail, read the old newspapers, and 'settle in' for the night. Yup, the Twins managed to lose a game for me.

These Gatherings seem to go by too darn SHORT for me. By the time you get into any 'groove' it's Saturday night!!!

Already miss y'all. Well, except for Larry. You have to be there to be missed, ya'know (rub it in, rub it in).

Another year will pass, my friends. Stay on this side of the law.
Yer Sheriff.
