You know Terry, that is one of my biggest regrets, that I never saw him "Live" or knew him personally. Most of the people that will be welcoming you, knew him. I think you will find out that Mickey was a very approachable person. I read a story written by, I believe it was Rev. Buchman. He just decided to give Mickey a call at home one day. They talked for a couple hours. I think he even said that Mickey played a song for him. They were friends ever since. That's the kind of guy Mickey was. For as much as I loved his music I never tried to see him live. I will always regret that. Anyway, stick around and get to know these people they are a great bunch! Also, consider going to the Gathering in June. There is a lot on info on it and I hear that it is incredable. I will be there this year! |
