| Message: | You don’t need to tell me about Dylan’s songwriting accomplishments. A book was recently released on Mickey’s life and music, and Dylan is prominently featured on 20 pages. His name is spelled correctly, too. Mickey gets one brief, incorrect mention in Dylan’s book. I know Mickey joked about the common misspelling of his own name. Page 266. Maybe it’s the womens’ underwear commercials. Maybe it’s the fact that Dylan’s staff refused to organize an interview for Crystal & Stone. Wouldn’t even submit a list of questions to their master. Maybe it’s the fact that I have come to realize that writing a song does not a God make. Dylan is in a position to help Mickey. All it would take is a few kind words… |
