Message:  BIG THANKS AND HUGS to all of you who remembered my birthday. When you get as old as I am each one is precious and you feel it is a bonas. My birthday is today and I am 74. I am having a big party at the LONE STAR BAR on Saturday night. Consider this an open invitation and as we here in the south say "come on down, y"all. There is a young man that is now playing in a band. He and RB played at all my bithdays for the last 5 years this is the 6th. So with RB in Germany, I am going to where the band is playing so that Mike will still play for me. Today has been good so far, I was met this morning with the strains of Happy Birthday woefully out of tune and Bobbie Rae on her new guitar(courtesy of Charlie Day). Then I have been called by all the other children even RB in Berlin. He is inviting me to come over there for a couple of weeks. I do have to pay my way over but says I don't need any money for expenses once I get there. How Can I pass up a deal like that? I am so very fortunate to have reached this age and still be able to function. Mamie, I won't do anything you wouldn't do. I hope I will be doing the two step with some young stud cowboy. I am so very fortunate to have such a great family who still remeber I am their Mpm and even remember my birthday. I coonsider myself so lucky to have so many good and loving friends that I have met through this wonderful porch. I have attended all 3 gatherings and the friends just grow and grow. I thank you for letting me sit here and rock and enjoy all the chatter, even if I don't jump in. I love you all. Shirley
