| Message: | The tv show I did saturday evening was a three- hour-caleidoscope of items, featuring live performances of international known artists, tv-personalities, a famous singing moviestar, old tv series like The Flying Doctors and a talk with a antropology professor. I was scheduled in the third hour for a little talk and singing. While sitting at the table with the host of the show, the floormanager came up and asked if I could do just one couplet and the refrein of the song. He was in time-trouble and, being a radio- and tv-man myself I knew what that means. So I gave him a hard time saying; Well, you invited me to sing a song, so I will sing the song. And the song doesn't have a refrein at all. While we were 'on camera' we talked a bit about what happened in Austin and then I sang half of the song and had a loud applaus. Afterwards the host and the famous moviestar came up and said they liked the song very much. Thats not bad you know, while they only heard half of it, ha ha ha! Maybe I better hire a manager who takes care of making better appointments in the future. But we, Ina and two friends were with me too, had a good time and the rose wine was good. |
