Message:  ONE MORE LINE

Rocker’s rocking, chimes are chiming.
Guitar plays, words are rhyming.
Eyes are closed, in deep thought.
Chases words, he’s never caught.

One more song, out there somewhere.
Light reflects off thick gray hair.
Time grows short, just one more line.
New life waits, across the brine.

Reflects on works done in the past.
Is it strong enough to last?
It’s his gift from his pure heart.
Sails are full he must depart.

Loved ones on the dock below.
He waves good by and hopes they know.
He’s still with them, it’s in his song.
Won’t be long, they’ll come along.

Rocker’s rocking, chimes are chiming.
Guitar plays, words are rhyming.
Eyes are closed, in deep thought.
Captures words, he’s never caught.

Sits back proud of his new tune.
He’ll play for us, we’ll be there soon.
