Message:  try a heavy duty degreaser and a stiff brush with a bcuket of warm, soapy water (dish soap). spray or pour the degreaser on, then after it sets a few minutes, start scrubbing the daylights out of it with the soapy brush. Rinse it all well. You won't know if you got it until the wood dries. Being that wood is so pourous, you may not be able to get all of the grease out.
