Message:  Hi Brian, my experience is similar to yours. I found Mickeys music after the "Trilogy LP" and after listening to Scott Walkers version of "Sunshine", by 1982 I owned around 8 of Mickeys Long Players, however, around that same time, my mother died and I entered into a severe breakdown and I was taken into hospital. When I came out about six months later Mickeys music was like "music therapy" to my mind and soul. I played his music all the time. After 1982, when my health improved, I picked up most of Mickeys CDs from Smart Choice Music (after the large stores in London no longer stocked his works). I beleive that Mickeys music saved my life and some day, when I reach those pearly gates, the first person I'm asking St Peter for, after my mum and dad, will be Mickey.
