| Message: | Ed This new film is tremendously moving. I was so lucky to be at Cottage Grove and your record of events, particularly Mickey and Ron (and so many of the wonderful people supporting Mickey in so many ways: Jeff, Mamie, Susan, Laura, RB and more) is a memory- and tear-jerker. I saw Mickey playing the keyboard at Cottage Grove and was struck, not for the first time, by his quiet confidence, his grace and musicality. The latter part of your film transported me to Springfield, Cottage Grove and 116 Westfield Place, and more magically still to Mickey and his music. Thank you Ed. Thank you Mickey. Thanks to everyone on the porch. Brian |
