Message:  ...and again this morning, with a little Clarence Brown thrown in.

Morning rain keeps on falling,
Like the teardrops fall from my eyes.
As I sit in my room, staring out at the gloom,
Its the rain, its the same old blues.

I can't help, I can't help but thinking,
when the sun used to shine in my back door.
Now the sun has turned to rain, all my life
would turn to pain.
Yes, its the saying of the same old blues.

Sunshine, the sun shines and all you can see now,
But it all, all looks like clouds to me.
As I sit in my room, staring out at the gloom.
Its the rain, its the same old blues.

Its the rain, its the same old blues.

---Clarence Gatemouth Brown did this song on his "Back to Bogalusa" CD not too very long ago.
If he is ever in your neighborhood, don't pass us the chance to see him. My wife and I saw him at "The Mucky Duck" in Houston this past January. He is the one that referred to Mickey as "Little White Wolf"
