Message:  WOW!!! You folks are very lucky that you knew Mr. Newbury personally! About all I have is his
music.....a few recordings and a videotape of him, his guitar, his voice, and a beautiful, talented lady accompanying him of the violin (fiddle??), which I cherish.

I haven't posted for 2-3 years because I find I'm
"out of my class", musically speaking, on here; but I do check in and read the "action". Thanx to Laura Shayne, I was able to access this fine site some years ago, and it has provided me with some nice and enjoyable e-mail contacts. I bought Mr. Z's book on Mickey and have read it twice since. Oh, I UNDERSTOOD it the first time but I enjoy reading about personable, talented
people (envy, I guess !).....I may read it AGAIN
still.   HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU.
