| Message: | Okay......a little history here: The U of O Teams were originally called Webfoots. Rain is a most everyday occurance around Oregon, thus the name. Then they made Donald Duck their mascot....thank you Mr. Disney. Yep, he gave the university the okay for Donald's face to be emblazened on posters. Over the years.....it became official. U of O Ducks. Since the Internet and TV have provided a lot of hype, this team is known all over the the U. S. Bob, I'm sorry, but some of the SEC are pretty giddy over our Ducks. GO DUCKS!!!!! We will have a little "Duck Party" on the day of the game. BBQ hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, etc...... G.kid Chase, and our son, John, will leave on Sunday for Phoenix and join the crowd. |
