| Message: | Was watching an old Hee-Haw episode yesterday (the one featuring Sammie Smith), and those age-old asked but never really answered questions came back to me .... to wit: 1. Did Mickey ever appear on Hee-Haw? 2. Did Hee-Haw ever try to get him to appear? 3. Did Mickey ever have an opinion regarding Hee-Haw? 4. Have ANY of Mickey's songs ever been performed on Hee-Haw? OK, ok, I can gather that Mickey never appeared on the show --- or we would have heard about it. And as for his opinion, I ocassionally catch a Johnny Cash, Roger Miller, and others of Mickey's friends on the show. Just wondered if he expressed any disapproval of the Hee-Haw format. And with the scope of Mickey's music, I always thought that at least ONE of his songs might have snuck in ... but I have been known to be wrong! Susie, Laura, Leah, Chris ... any help along these lines? Joey |
