| Message: | Ok, you know how I can't seem to put words together anymore, but, hey, I tried. Love ya, LL PS: You're going to have to stop being so grumpy when I call you, at five, in the morning. It's bad for the kid. SOMETHING TO SHARE Alone, tonight, I survey the sky. I hear the sound, of a plane, flying by. I can not see it, but I know it is there. Just like you, Dad, and I have something to share. If you can see me, just want you to know. There is a reason, that my face has a glow. You will soon be, a Grandfather again. Might be a boy, with your dimpled chin. Your , "Baby Girl", will soon be a mom. Emotions are high, no way to stay calm. Nine months, sounds so very long. But it gives you time, to write your Grandchild a song. Oh Daddy, I miss you! Wish you were here. How can " Happy " and " Sad " both share a tear? Always the right words, as you held me tight. A kiss and " I love you ", tucked me in at night. Yes, alone tonight, feeling happy and sad. I look to the future, but hold to my Dad. A soft, gentle, breeze, runs through my hair. The wind chimes start playing, I know you are there. |
