| Message: | I remember Susie saying that the family regarded Eva Cassidy as the female version of Mickey Newbury. Interesting to note, Eva and Mickey both recorded “Danny Boy”... Eva included the ballad on her “Imagine” album, while Mick performed the song on three albums. Wouldn’t it be cool to mix the two voice tracks into a duet? I’d use the “Rusty Tracks” version, where Mick’s matching vocal comes in at 2:25. Does anybody have the audio gear to attempt this? |
