| Message: | Chip is in regular bed now on his back with his eyes open most of the time. He's been upgraded from critical to serious which is their way of saying they think he's conscious. You really can't tell whether he's conscious or not, but these are all good signs. His temperature is good. They are starting to try and wean him off the ventilator to get him breathing on his on. That has dropped his oxygen level a bit, but it's still okay. Still no kidney function, but the dialysis is still working well. Baby steps, but definitely in the right direction. I think the prayers are working! More tomorrow, Bill |
