Subject:  Chip - Friday a.m.
Message:  I'm heading back to the hospital in a few minutes. As Ginny stated below, Chip's temperature spiked up to 102 degrees day before yesterday. It had been running around 99. An infectious disease specialist was added to his medical team. His temp went back down to just above 100 late yesterday. At least three times yesterday his blood pressure and oxygen level dropped, and they had to do whatever it is they do to get them back up.

I guess the good news is that he's still with us and still fighting. Please keep those powerful porch prayers coming!

Beverly is holding up pretty well. She arrives at the hospital early every morning and doesn't leave until late at night. It's a 100 mile round trip from Teague to the hospital. God bless her!
