| Message: | Doug, Robert Frost would agree with you. This thread reminded me of his "Considerable Speck" in which he resists the urge to use his pen to blot out the life of a tiny insect venturing across his page. His closing four lines: "I have a mind myself and recognize Mind when I meet with it in any guise. No one can know how glad I am to find On any sheet the least display of mind." A mind in tune with a soul and blessed with the ability to verbalize it is a rare commodity. But there are flashes of it on this website! Sallie |
