| Message: | It's a long story about the Gourd. I was too young to go, but had access to cassettes that David would give me of R & M and Post. Not too many people knew he was the one who had the hit with Friend and Lover "Reach Out In The Darkness". He would stay with David and his wife while in SF (Post) and was a trip. Saw Post at the Music Hall once and he could really put on a show. Did you know that he is now in Illinois but travels doing a Mark Twain show? He is on his second one. I have a tape of the first one and it is quite funny. He does it with his wife. If you check out jimpost.com you'll see he's also doing kids music etc! More later as I get more of a chance to look longer. SF was so much fun in the 60s! BTW, I forgot I did see MN at the Greek Theater in Berkeley at a Bread and Roses concert. Took awhile for my 50 yr old brain to come up to speed. Take Care! |
