Message:  Was just thinking about Rene, and the family.
I don't know why she jumps to the front for me.
No, I didn't know Roy. But, I felt like I
did in a tiny little way. He was so generous
to me. He told me I was "wonderful". I won't
forget that. I am so very sorry for his loss
to his family, and to his porch buddies. To me,
a "buddy" can be a little closer than a friend
sometimes. That's what Judy said when she
called me tonight. She said, "He was my buddy."
I'm sure he knew that, Judykins. I'm glad that
you sent the cards he kept telling you not to
keep sending. I know you are, too. Thank you
for calling me, Dear Heart.
