| Message: | I wrote this in the summer of '90, when I was visiting my sister in Knoxville TN...then I actually moved there about a year later and lived there for 6 years...(and that's where/when I met Mickey)...just thought I'd share this one with ya'll I Wanna Go Home To Missouri Tennesse is beautiful this time of year there's so much you can do and see around here But my heart's 500 miles away it's nice here, but I don't wanna stay I wanna go home to Missouri where my heart is home Home to Missouri never more to roam Wanna go home to my sweet Lady and take her for my wife wanna go home to Missouri and be with her...all of my life The Smokies are majestic risin' up to the sky but I am so alone here wish that I could die I know I'd like it better if she were here with me my heart's where ever she is that's where I wanna be I wanna go home to Missouri where my heart is home Home to Missouri never more to roam Wanna go home to my sweet Lady and take her for my wife wanna go home to Missouri and be with her...all of my life a house is where you hang your hat but home is where your heart is at...and I wanna go home to Missouri where my heart is home Home to Missouri never more to roam Wanna go home to my sweet Lady and take her for my wife wanna go home to Missouri and be with her...all of my life and be with her...all of my life ~Andrew Polk~ 1990 |
