| Message: | It seems that news of Rene's condition has been taking up most of the Porch over the past week. We are in for a long haul and at this point we are taking baby steps. Yesterday the loss of her lower left leg was a blow to us all and I felt that our friends here on the Porch needed to know about it. Over the next week there will be small changes in her condition. Unless something major happens, I don't want to keep negative energy posted on a daily basis. Sylvia and I know you will continue to include Rene in your prayers and we appreciate that more than we could ever say, but I see no need to continue to request prayers with each problem that might happen. Thank you all for what you've been doing and will continue to do. Sue or I will post if there is something positive to report. As I said, we've got a very long road ahead. I worry about my lady...she turns into super Mom when something like this happens, and she tends to forget she's as old as I am...at least for another week. |
