| Message: | Don't know if this hurts or helps but Lee and I have spoken on the phone twice , both for quite a period of time. He also spoke with Mamie for about an hour yesterday or the day before. He is a TRUE Newbury Fan. One thing about Lee though. The worlds greatest typist, he's not. He is 54 and just got his first computer a short while ago. Tonight he told me that he hoped he didn't sound too ignorant with his post on the board but , with his love of Mickey, he just wanted to be a part of this special group. Not cutting the man down or anything but the above post took him an amazing 30 minutes to complete. In Odessa he works as a 9-1-1 operator. Just kidding..... I hope. He's already got his bags packed for next years gathering. Please make him feel at home or Mamie's going to kick some butt. LL |
