Message:  Tim...that "Mamie" is Mickey's mom. Now you've been welcomed and adopted.

You found us a few days late to make the annual Mickey Newbury Gathering. It ended ten days ago. Start making plans for next year. Sometime before the first of the year there will be posts regarding the location and dates. The norm is the last weekend in June. You'll have the chance to meet many of those who dwell here on the Porch, hear some of the best songwriters on the planet and enjoy many members of Mick's family. Watch the board for posts on when video of this years event will be webcast at:

CW is recovering from this year's Gathering in the Flordia Keys. He should be back in a few weeks.
