Jesse, so glad to hear that you are coming home. My oldest son,Chad,is at Fort Lewis and is scheduled to go to Iraq the first part of March. He was an Airbourne Ranger during his first hitch as an enlisted man. He is now a 2nd Lt. and hopefully will make a better officer as a result of that experience. I know I will be watching the news very intently during the next year. Anyway, God bless you and all our troops.Our resident poet, Larry Moore(LL),once wrote a poem about a father lamenting the loss of his soldier son. The part of the poem I remember most is that he knows his son is a hero,but all he wishes to do is hold him one more time. I think LL pretty well summed it up. We as parents just want to hold and love you. God's speed and HOOAH!! |
