*Message:*	Hi, Jackie! Just thought this might be a good chance to explain these posts from Mary Anne to you and anyone else new to the porch. Mary Anne Potter used to be a frequent poster on the porch several years back (mostly before I even showed up here). A lot of the people who have been around for a long time remember her. She was very busy taking care of her sick father for years and then her husband got sick. She sends updates to Mamie and asks that they be posted on the porch. Mamie forwards them to me and I post them for her, as Mamie and Mary Anne both know the power of prayer on this porch. Just thought you'd like to know, especially since I thought you might have the impression that these posts were directly from me. But, as long as I have the floor, my Dad is going through a cancer scare right now and will be having surgery about what to do next on Jan. 26. So, if you're still reading this "essay," maybe I could ask for some prayers for him, too. Thanks.
