| Message: | Thanks so much y'all for your welcome back. Unfortunately now that the Easter break is over (I had four days off) I will be getting tired again (this constant fatigue is an old problem of mine) so won't be saying much for a while again. Just quietly rockin' away... Yessiree Mamie, I sure as heck sound jus' like a real Texan don't I? An' I eat ocra and grits and all that stuff! (Well I did in Perdido Key anyways!) Love you darlin'. I wish I could turn back time to that trip again too, Meeks. I always promised myself that I would be back to see you all again but it seems a bit of a long shot now. Wasn't it THE BEST? Oh, except for that bloody Pommie guy in the school shorts going on and on about how he was wagging school hee hee! (Love you Phil. I might yet inflict a daughter on you!). Speaking of which, Connie, one of my girls, Lara, came home from GB last May after two years there and several visits to other European countries. A low-light was her falling into a canal in Venice, totally in wetting even her hair!, and being hauled off to the Police station (both girls) by a gondolier when they wouldn't pay because he was ripping them off... And catching a plane to Genoa in Spain, that is until they got to the airport and realised they had actually booked for a town in Italy starting with the letter G... Peta is still there, coming up to four years in October. Now she plans to stay for five years all up as she can then come and go from GB at will forever. She is working as a Speech Pathologist, mainly with children, and is loving it. At Easter she visited Estonia and has been to several other countries. Australia being so far away from everywhere, it is a great opportunity. Tommy says hi to Taggart! Larry, of course I received a chocolate playpuss for Easter! Cute too! But Joey, playpusses don't lay eggs! You must be thinking of something else, wink wink. I hope you can come over and visit April, that would be marvellous! I could possibly come to either Sydney or Melbourne to make it easier. We are about 5 to 6 hours away from both cities. And 2.5 hours from Canberra. My love to all here. Let's keep up the good work of spreading Mickey's music and love as wide as we can. This world needs him. Karen |
