| Message: | I've been keeping some of you posted on what's been going on with my almost-4 month old grand niece in California. She's in UCLA hospital in Los Angeles - has undergone surgery twice so far. Here is a request from my nephew for prayers for Lacey. Subject: URGENT - Lacey update 2-5-2008 Hello, Today the doctors discovered a small area in Lacey's brain that had been bleeding. It is not actively bleeding, however it does pose severe risks: - she cannot be on heparin anymore, or she could experience bleeding in the brain; - thus, heparin can no longer help her system to dissolve the clot in her leg; - thus, the clot may break up in the blood stream and cause a stroke, heart attack, or damage to other organ(s) and/or system(s). She is literally in danger for her life. Let us pray that this clot does not dislodge or break apart, but rather that it dissolves slowly, or that our all-powerful God supernaturally removes it. Thank you, Scott & Gina The family sure would appreciate prayers for Lacey! Thanks, Connie |
