*Message:*	I experienced the effects of the Friaul earthquake back in 1976. It was while we were in bed. I know that when you are newly married the earth is supposed to move but this went a bit too far. It was the cupboards rattling that woke us up and the lampshade was swinging back and forth. I`d never experienced anything like that before in England and remember shouting out "what is it? what is it?". My husband said "It`s only an earthquake." ONLY an earthquake?? It turned out that the epicentre was in Friaul/Italy) and that there were about 1000 people killed. Not something that I would like to see repeated.
