Joe,and all you guys, I never was an emotional kid.Aside from laughin' and gigglin',that is. I could always get tickled at the most inappropiate times. My brother was bad about whispering dirty jokes during funerals, etc.Anyway, as I get older, and become more aware of how wonderful Music, and Friends are,I become a little teary. I really cried a lot reading that book about Mickey. I remembered the early '80's when I was first starting out as a songwriter. I remembered the "Big Guys" then. Newbury;Throckmorton;Kristofferson...those were the guys I really studied. It didn't hinder me. They had such style, class, and authenticity, with a generous dose of Real Integrity.I talked to Billy Ray Reynolds today about Mickey.I was very much in awe of his talent.Still am. I don't know you folks, but I love ya.
