| Message: | I just gigged and played golf at the Songwriter Festival.Mickey, of course, is mentioned approx. every 3 minutes. I fell in love with his music when I heard Jerry Lee sing "She Even Woke Me Up to Say Goodbye." Later, I bought the Rain album. And even later, I played golf with him in Nashville, and even later, I saw him perform live twice in Nashville. I'm from Columbia, Tn. originally. I live in Livingston, Al. now. Anyway, I just read the Ziemer book about Mickey. I read the whole book yesterday. I couldn't put it down..except for pee breaks. What a wonderfully written biography/tribute. Somebody who knows Joe Ziemer, tell him Jacky Jack White is really grateful, and appreciative of this fine book.God Bless all You Folks, Jack |
