| Message: | My wife is watching the tv show ER. Part of it is about a 59 year old man that has pain in his back and legs when walking. He takes 3-4 vicodine pills everyday. They told him he couldn't continue taking that much medicine. He said that he used to take one pill and it made him high but now the three or four pills he takes a day doesn't do much anymore. Remind you of anyone we all know? I go to the surgery center tomorrow where they will knock me out and give me four injections in my spine. I'll have to stay on my back for two days. Two out of three chance it will work and if it does it may last a long time or just two months. My part in all this is one thousand dollars. The good news is that if it works I can get off the three pain pills and muscle relaxer that I now take. The other good news is that if it doesn't work I get to go back to taking the pills again. Actually I'm sick of pain pills. Got to go I can't eat anything after midnight and there are two new cartons of Blue Bell in the freezer. |
