| Message: | He opened his heart to us and shared many stories from his life. He was not afraid to point out his own weaknesses. Funny thing is, each thing he shared about his struggles made him bigger in my mind, not smaller. I will remember his wisdom. The clarity of his views of the world and his ability to express them so well whether in writing or the spoken word. Ahhh, the spoken word...that voice...is there a man anywhere who wouldn't like to sound like Ron Lyons when they talk? I will remember his kindness to others. And his thoughtfulness during the times of sorrow that so many of us have faced. My sincerest, most heart felt condolences to Ron's family in Oregon. Please know that the man you loved was loved and respected by many. My condolences to all on this porch who loved him. I guess that is everyone, isn't it? |
