There is such a misconception regarding stem cells and abortion.

The stem cells in question are those which come from fertility clinics...you've had experience with this on a personal level...some of the drugs used can cause a woman to produce dozens of eggs. Then they only use from one to four.
What do they do with what's left over? They throw them away. These are the ones medical research people use....however, because of limited funding, the process is being slowed to a crawl, rather than full speed ahead.

Now, this is not the place to go into a long and detailed discussion on what can be done with this research. You can look it up on the internet, which I wish our leaders in Washington would do, rather than rely on hand-me-down info.

Could it provide a cure for cancer...yes! Could it provide a cure for MD & MS...yes! Could it cure every known desease...nobody knows, but it might. Christopher Reeves felt that stem cell research was his best shot at walking again. He didn't live long enough to find out.

Are we messing with God's plan for man???? God made us perfect to start with...we're the ones who messed our bodies up, smoking, drinking, eating the wrong...all the things we know not to do. Thanks to fast food, biscuits and gravy, I clogged the roads in and out of my heart...some wonderful doctors fixed me...I don't believe they messed with God's plan...they fixed what I messed up.

People much smarter that you and I believe that this research is the most important in the history of man...let's find out.
