| Subject: | Re: an honor |
| Message: | especially the Viet Nam vets have been largely ignored by the Government & the general public, and so many have fallen through the cracks...I volunteer to play music at the James A Haley VA Hospital here in Tampa, and there are SO many Viet Nam vets there in very poor health (physically & mentally)...and then there's the Iraq conflict veterans I encounter when I play for OPERATION HELPING HANDS...and it's so sad to see these young men & women with arms & legs missing, head wounds, etc...and many confined to a wheelchair...it makes you wonder, is it all worth this? I personally do NOT support the reasons we are in Iraq, but I definitely support those who serve, and those in harms way. andrew |
