| Message: | I went out with Ryan last night, and bought the first pair of shoes over $15 I have ever laid my feet in! I've been enjoying yogalates (a mixture of yoga and pilates founded by a woman named Louise Solomon in Australia) for a month now, but I kept feeling this urge to put on a pair of comfortable shoes and go running (which never happens)! I finally made the purchase last night... black and silver, sleek Nike Shocks!! I came home, ran a mile (almost died) and got up at 5:30 this morning to go running with a friend. I have been told by doctors in the past that my joints would not take to running very well, but I feel great so far!! Excersize has become extremely theraputic for me. I think that, in seeing what my mother is going through, watching her struggle with the pain in her hips, and watching her prepare for bilateral hip surgery at her age (uuhh...err....35, right?) has made me that much more health conscious, and I am thoroughly enjoying it!
