Message:  It would seem to me, who would love to have ANY
music Mickey Newbury performed, that his family
would most certainly have the final "say" about
this. I personally would pay for such a CD, pri-
marily because Mickey's doing it, and it is NOT a
studio production, with all the synthesizer"help"
and additions and deletions, etc. I bought Johnny
Cash's last CD, which WAS studio produced, and I
guarantee Mickey Newbury can COUGH and sound bet-
ter that John sounded. And don't misunderstand,
I've always liked Cash...but musically, his last
CD was a abberation. It's real value is that it
is his LAST CD. I guarantee that if this partic-
ular recording (of Mickey) is ever available, I
want one, BUT.....I will certainly understand and
accept totally whatever decision is made regarding it by Mickey's family, and / or the owner of the recording. BC
