*Message:*	I have not posted about this yet because I have not been ready to take it on. But, I have in my position a multi-track recording of the 2000 Gathering which I made using the stage microphones, so the recording is tight. For a short time, with Mickey’s permission, I distributed a mix down of the recording to members of the porch; several people here should still have it. However, Mickey later asked me very kindly to stop passing it around, so I of course complied. He was not as excited about the offering as the rest of us were. We all know how particular he was of what efforts others should hear. So, it has been sitting on this thing in my vault for the passed six years. Anyone have suggestions of what I should do with the only multi-track recording of Mickey Newbury’s last public performance?
