| Message: | Whatever she has, the hospital and doctors in Gainesville are stumped. They did a cat scan this morning and unless something shows us there, they play to transfer her to Sherman (about 30 Miles away) to the Center for Desease Control. This could be something like Legonaiers (I can't spell this crap). Maybe Black Mold. The were flooded at the Mall where she's the PR director a few weeks back. There's a chance that Tim might have brought something home when he was released from the rehab center...he died much faster than anyone expected. Needless to say, I am very concerned. Because I am still undergoing chemo, my doctor says that I can't get near her. She will call me later, after the results of the cat scan...I'm betting she'll be on her way to Sherman very soon. I have a doctor friend there who I went from Sunday School through High School with...I'm going to contact him and see what he can find out for me. Just add her to the prayer wheel and light a lamp or two, or three. The two of us are the last of our prime family still hanging around. Sue is eight years younger than me...and she's had enough now...she's through taking care of others and it's time she had some time for herself...and not in a hospital bed. I'm hoping one of those high class docs will take one look at her, pop her butt with a big needle and she'll be well by morning. The Gainesville Hospital is ok for the everyday things, but just not equiped to handle anything out of the norm. Stay tuned for the next chapter of "General Hospital...Stamps Style". |
