| Subject: | To all you lovely Porchers |
| Message: | Tonight is the big night here in Catholic Austria. The bell is rung in houses all over the country and then the children enter the room where the Christmas tree is hidden,alight with candles and brought by the angels (I still haven`t figured out how they do it yet) with gifts underneath it. I haven`t got any small children and no grandchildren yet but my parents are here from england for four weeks. My daughter has a few days off work and now that school is out Markus has also time off so the flat is full of people. For someone who is usually alone for twelve hours a day it takes a bit of getting used to, but it is lovely to have family around. Unfortunately I have a touch of pneumonia....thankfully normal pneumonia this time. Love to all of you at Christmastime...a time to be thankful for family,friends and tender mercies. |
